Lampante Oil

Lampante olive oil is derived mechanically from the olive fruit and it represents the second phase of oil extraction. We extract lampante oil from olive pomace, the residue remaining after the first extraction of olive oil, through a decanting procedure. It preserves many of the healthy properties of olive oil, and contains many bioactive compounds that are beneficial to our health.

It has a free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, of more than 3.3 grams per 100 grams (3.3%). It is generally intended for refining or for technical use. After refining, lampante oil contains free campesterol and stigmasterol in concentrations similar to those found in extra virgin olive oil.
